David's Fountain

Michelangelo carved David many years ago, and artists are still being intrigued with the romance and artistic inspiration of David. This is especially true at home and garden for petite avatars because I have added a modified David to a fountain that is being released for Valentine's Day. This David is missing a leg and an arm, he is fashioned from a lovely strawberry marble, placed on a darker strawberry marble pedestal that sits in a pool of water inside a square pool made from the same color of strawberry marble as the pedestal. About groin high are four water jets spraying David. Each water jet is in one of the four corners of the fountain and can be seen from every direction.

This fountain is 14 prims, L$250, yes copy, no mod, and no transfer. If your sweetheart is not sweet on cherubs this is a great idea for a fountain for Valentine's Day! Regardless of who your sweetie is no one can resist David.

Cherub Fountains at Last are Here!

Romance is in the air! Valentine's Day is right around the corner and Home and Garden for Petite Avatars has been busy at work making romantic fountains for your out door garden. I am pleased to unveil the cherub and frog fountain. This fountain is a three-tiered fountain including a basin for the main water. Cherubs "hold" up the fountain, tucked up against the lowest water bowl. This fountain features strawberry marble in various hues and shades. The fountain is lightly glazed  and the cherubs have a high glaze. A frog is sitting on top of the fountain with a ball with water flowing over them.

This fountain features the cute little cherubs around the bottom of the fountain holding up the lower water basin, but this time water is cascading over the the sides of the bowls from the top down. Additionally, there is a jet of water falling from the top of the fountain and the cherubs are peeing in the lower basin. There are water fountain sounds intermingled with the pee sounds, which make for a wonderful melody for your garden. The marble is a lighter shade of strawberry complementing the darker shade around the basin.

This particular fountain features a single cherub standing on top of the fountain, balancing on a rotating ball that has water sliding around it. The cherub is peeing off the top of the fountain and his water lands in the lower basin. This fountain is shaped in an octagon. The sounds can be turned on/off by touching the water in the basin. This fountain has only two tiers.

The final fountain in this Valentine's Day cherub fountain line is the double cherub fountain. The fountain is a single pool of water in an octagon pool with a frog holding a moving ball with water cascading over it. there are two cherubs peeing into the pool from opposite ends of the fountain. There are pee sounds on this particular fountain.

All these fountains are formal, romantic, and a great gift for low prim at 12-14 prims depending on the fountain as well as low lindens of $250. Another take on the dozen roses, these roses are potted and the magical number of 12 is within a beautiful wine color pot with pinkish hearts on the exterior of the pot. The colors are red, yellow, and pink.

Happy Valentine's! It is the season for love, flowers, joy, and friendship. Since the demand for roses in the shape of a heart are so popular, I have added five new styles: Baby Pink with red hearts flying out of the center. Gothic black roses with red hearts flying out of the center. Yellow roses and tulips with hearts drifting away. Burnt Orange roses and tulips with hearts drifting away. The gothic black roses are for the petite avatar that loves everything goth(ic). The prims are 1 each and the flowerbeds are copy, no mod, no trans. There are red hearts floating out of the center of the heart.

Joining the heart flowerbed family are pink roses. This lovely bed of roses is baby pink. They are one prim and have particle hearts coming from the center; touch on/off to turn on or off the particles.

Appearing for the first time are roses and tulips. Most of the heart-shaped flowerbeds do not have tulips, but this lovely flower arrangement has burnt orange roses mixed with the yellow tulips. Winter Wunderland Trees

Winter is upon us and nothing says winter like falling snow onto greenish/brown grass. Snow crunching underfoot and romantic walks. Every home needs a winter tree. This winter tree is ice blue with snow falling around it and has a pile of snow under the tree. As you near the tree, you will hear the snow crunching. Winter Wunderland tree has 16 prims and is copy, no mod, no trans.

There are three colors in this collection: snow white, ice blue, and white. The snow falls around the tree, and a pile of snow sits beneath the tree. The snow crunches when an avatar is within .25 of a meter of the snow.

Fall Trees

Fall is one of the best seasons of the year. The smell of the leaves as you crunch them underfoot. The gathering of the dead leaves into piles and burning them. There is nothing better than the smell of fall. The fall colors are amazing.

The new fall trees are here all golden orange, yellow, and a combination of the two colors. Fall leaves drift out from the tree and waft away on the wind. At the base of the trees are some fallen leaves covering the ground.

Two of these trees are similar. The trees are gold and orange and orange and gold. The difference is how many gold limbs and orange limbs on each tree. If you like the gold and with a two tone tree leaves, you should choose the gold and orange and if you like the orange and gold tree has more orange limbs. The gold and orange tree has more gold limbs.

Happy Halloween to my fellow dark petite, small, and tiny avatars. I have made a haunted house that will thrill your dark soul.

Features:

The house is a three story haunted home with blood on the floors, stairs, ceilings, furniture as a horrible crime has been committed here. From the outside, there are blinking circles of yellow lights as if the house has captured the souls of the dead. The windows are broken and splattered with blood. The authorities have tired to keep people out, by boarding the doors and windows up, but it makes no difference.

Leading up to the house are paving stones made of meat. The lush green bushes are offset by the blood red rose bushes. As you climb the steps, you hear ghostly footsteps following your from room to room. The door creaks open and you see a corpse on Vlad's Torture Wheel and you sneak closer, but here there is no such thing as sneaking, as you get near the corpse screams in agony as the blood spews from its dead body. You hurry away through the interior door, followed by footsteps. You see the backyard from the broken patio window, there is a blood red vampire tree with shrieks emanating from the bloody pool. The blood is spewing from the vampire skulls and corpses float in the pool. The ground runs with blood. The graveyard is in the distance and you cannot quite make out what its is that you are seeing as its hard to see through the rain and fog. Thunder and lighting are cracking and flashing above you giving the eerie feeling to the graveyard. High above the storm clouds is a blood red moon spinning.

As you hurry up the steps, your way is illuminated by a single candle allowing you to see the blood spattered and framed Mona Lisa, but she is ghostly and turns into a zombie. The chandelier is hanging down from the blood spattered ceiling. The wind is heard whipping around the house, making the sounds soulless. Hurrying through the last door, you see a noose and jump on it for pictures and your poor little, petite body is dead, the house got another one.

You get off the poseball and now you are the undead. You click on the down button and are transported to your worst nightmare, screaming clowns and fog trap you in the basement, but there is no way out, you must go back to the teleporter and go back up to the second floor and walk back down those creepy stairs.

If you buy the graveyard only you get:

2-ghosts (pre-pathfindered to whiz around the grounds)

1-vampire tree

1-thunderstorm with rain, lightning, clouds

1-blood red moon

The vampire tree is not attached to the cemetery therefore you can reduce the prims by 35 by not putting it out, but it is bundled with the full package.

2014 Halloween Items Part 1

Fountain of the Damned

The Fountain of the Damned is by far one of my favorite accessories for this year's Halloween. The fountain features corpses around the bottom of the fountain, has green moss over the cement sections of the fountain and there are four vampire skulls connecting the upper part of the fountain. The skulls have white glowing eyes and green fog rolling from them. All the levels of the fountain have blood slouching around in the basins. Around the entire fountain is surrounded with blood red flowers, after all flowers draw on whats around them and there is only death and blood!

Vampire Candelabra

Another fun accessory for your haunted house or your castle is the vampire candelabra. This features a blood spattered wheel with a candle in the center. There are three chains that connect the wheel to the vampire skull. The candle is touch on and off to turn on and off the fire. This candelabra is yes mod and copy although it is no transfer. Be careful modifying this piece because the skull has two pieces you have to grab at the same time. The reason that I decided to make this item modifiable and copyable is because your ceiling height may be different from mine and I wanted you to be able to fit it into the room you want it to fit into!

Vampire Fountain

This vampire fountain has blackened organic rocks as it's base, blood in all the pools that moves, dripping from the vampire fangs, and blood spraying from the top of the fountain. The dripping sounds may be touch on/off in order to turn off or on the sounds. this wonderful fountain looks good during the day, but especially so at night.

Vampire Tree (Brackish Green)

The witches and sorcerers got together and made this tree turn darkest, brackish green. The tree now contaminated with death called vampire skulls and made them a part of the tree. The tree draws its strength from blood, which pools at the foot of the tree. The vampire's whose skulls the tree has claimed for its own drinks the blood and spews it from their mouths. This tree will glow in the dark as the eyes of the vampires still remain in the skulls. A wonderful edition to your vampire castle!

Vlad's Torture Wheels

Vlad the Impaler has been at it again this Halloween preparing his traditional torture wheels for ghoulish delight and decoration. However, he has prepared a particularly twisted torture wheel, one with a poseball for all your friends to impale themselves upon, Muuuuhhhhh!

All the wheels spurt blood from the groin. The big wheel with the corpse on it has moans and groans that only turn on if an avatar get close to to and automatically turns off when you walk away. The same is said for the medium-sized wheel. The wheels are large, medium, and tiny (the one with the poseball!). These wheels will make a terrific addition to your haunted house! All three wheels are 5 prim each! Be sure to scare all your friends.

Witch's Cauldron

The witches got together this year and made a bubbling brew from the blackest of cauldrons. Wafting up from the pot is green smoke. Inside is a green stew with rolling eyes, bobbing brains, bones, and skulls all rotating for ghoulish effects. The green fog is especially enticing at night, until one views into the horror of Witch's Soup!

Pocket Avatar Clothing--At Last!

At last home and garden for petite avatars is adding a new clothing line of prim based silks. Since pocket avatars are mesh, we can only wear prim clothes. Making small clothing takes time, so our line will take awhile to develop. Our first is "feathers of paradise" and it has a color changing HUD so that you can choose any color your heart desires! You can make your clothes glow, tint them, make them bigger or smaller, and them more transparent.

The actual package as featured above comes yes mod, yes copy, no transfer, pose stand specially made for pocket avatars, prim bra and skirt. Since clothing is worn there is no land impact. This silk also comes with a free demo package. You can try it on to see if you like it. If you do, you can order it from the Second Life Marketplace or inworld.

These beautiful silks are made specifically for pocket avatars, which are .38th of a meter tall. If you consider your avatar small or tiny grab a demo box today and see if the silk fits you. The DEMO box does not come with the color changing HUD nor a pose stand. However, the demo allows you to see if you like the style. Remember although the DEMO does not come modify, the real "feathers of paradise" does. Please remember when you are modifying the outfit to keep an original in your inventory in case there is a supreme mistake on the modifications, you can start over! (I hope that doesn't happen!)

The "rose silk" is a complicated outfit so please be careful when doing modifications. The most complicated part is the rose on the belt. Try using the size buttons on the HUD (+/-) or under the more table, before manually modifying the outfit, it might save you some frustration. This outfit has many points to change the colors, the bra, belt, rose, short skirt, and drop skirt.

This lovely outfit also comes with a DEMO silk. This way you can see if you like the style. The DEMO does not come mod, nor does it have a HUD or pose stand. However, the real "rose silk" box has the HUD and does come yes mod, yes copy, no transfer. This silk can be purchased on the SLX or inworld.

The next outfit is the "water nymph" silk. This silk has a jewel encrusted belt that has a base color of light pink glitter texture and the color of the gem is rose amethyst and cannot be changed. When using the color changing HUD remember that the base pink color will affect the color you choose from the color HUD. The silk comes with a yes mod, yes copy, no transfer bra and skirt. The skirt is long in the front and back and plays peek-a-boo with the sides of your legs. The bra has a strap around the back and across the front. This too has a light, pink glitter base for the bra; the base color will also affect any color choices made with the color HUD.

This silk comes with a free DEMO that you can get on the SLX or inworld. After trying on the silk in the DEMO form you can purchase it inworld or on the SLX. The DEMO box only has a copy bra and skirt available.

Since the bra and skirt have a base color of light pink here are some ideas on the colors that you can add to pink to get other colors: add yellow and get red, add cyan and get dark blue, and add white and get a lighter pink. I hope this will help you when fussing with the colors. The other way is trail and error and what fun that can be. There is one feature that you can check to color all the items at once. There is a box that you can check in the upper left corner. Another way to match colors to all the items is to write down the RGB color number you want in the bra, then click the button in the lower right corner and in open chat type in the RGB numbers for the skirt.

This silk looks as if you are wearing stars. It is ephemeral and beautiful! This silk has a prim bra and skirt. Choose any color that you want with the color changing HUD! There are two tabs on the left which when you click the picture of the skirt, that is what you are choosing to color or tint. There are two tabs at the top, one has to do with size and the other changing the transparent, glow, and shine bars. Click on the bars left or right to change these parameters.

As with all my silks for pocket avatars, the "starlight, starBright" silk comes with the ability to DEMO the silk before purchasing it.

There are only four silks available at the moment on the SLX or inworld however, keep checking back and hopefully I will have some more made shortly, but shortly is relative to my real world schedule!

Pathfinding---For Builders

Recently, I have been attempting to learn pathfinding, however, it's been a trail. If you are a builder and have run into trouble, I have found a blog that is in German, but with all the translators out there, you can read it, I did! This blog helped me debug the pathfinder attributes, which the Second Life Knowledge base does not have on record. Here is what you do!

Fairy Trees

Spring has gone and summer has arrived! The fairies worked hard this spring pollinating all the plants and flowers; they have retreated to the fairy trees to enjoy the hot days of summer. You can see the fairies flying about as twinkling star dust. (You can turn on or off the twinkles in open chat with this command: /twinkle on or off (no period or punctuation marks.)

This beautiful tree glows and looks as if it could shake off the fairies in on big shake of its limbs. The tree is yes copy, no mod, no trans and has 9 prims.

This magnificent tree also comes in pink. This tree sparkles with hidden possibilities; has 9 prims and the twinkles can be turned off in open chat with /twinkles on or off depending on what you want in the moment.
